You might like feedly:
http://feedly.com/

It's a Firefox extension.

To be honest, I just use its Google search integration, because it nicely integrates the search results from Google reader into the main Google search page.

+1 for Google Reader... The big win for me is that it makes it easy to switch between computers. The keyboard shortcuts are nice too.

I use Google reader... The main benefit for me is a bunch of my friends use it and you can share articles. You can also get a RSS feed of your shared items too. I use that to display them on my website.

It also integrates nicely with iGoogle and the Google reader for mobile devices is OK. It works at least.

So if you use GTalk for example, and those people use Google reader you can share stuff.

If you're into terminal/console stuff (and especially if you like Mutt), you might find Newsbeuter (http://www.newsbeuter.org/) interesting.

I also finally switched to Google Reader myself (from bloglines) and found it much better, especially the numerous keyboard shortcuts (http://www.google.com/support/reader/bin/answer.py?answer=69973&topic=12012), precisely j and k, which are killers. Makes browsing feeds much faster, and in combination with s (star/favorite) and t (tag article) for safekeeping/later reading, the reading flow improves a thousandfolds over bloglines'
