Cubism
When I was little, my parents had a Rubik's Cube. I spent lots of time trying to solve it (or even parts of it), with little success. We had a book that was supposed to tell you how, but that didn't help either. (Hey, I was only 9 or so at the time...)
So a while ago I got it into my head to give the Cube another try. Bought one last weekend, and tried to figure it out. So far these videos have been very helpful:

Reading this post made me remember of a very old anecdote. When the military took over chilean government (in 1973) they began destroying books that references marxism or comunism. Like nazis they burned books and movies and music discs. One of the most remembered books they destroyed was a book about cubism, because the military "intelligence" related cubism with Cuba.
