About
This blog is *mostly* about Chicken Scheme. Or rather, it's about both the Scheme programming language, and the Chicken compiler, both of which I am currently studying.
As such, some posts may read a bit as if I were writing a tutorial... while this isn't really my intention, I do want to document interesting things that I learn -- and there is *a lot* to learn. Also, I'm aware that some of my readers come from a Python background, and it may be helpful to them (and other non-Schemers) if certain concepts are explained. (Look for the python-vs-scheme tag.) I'm still fairly new to Scheme, so right now, there won't be much here for more experienced Scheme programmers, other than to pick on my mistakes and misconceptions. :-)
And, as always, I also like to talk about other programming languages (like Python! I'm still a Pythoneer by day), and other things than programming (although I will spare you the astrology this time... probably).
Update: I wrote a bit of a manifesto/roadmap.
